I hope you are both just having check-ups and no work needs done. The sun has gone in again and getting darker so came in but do feel so chirpy having accomplished so much. Time for a cup of tea now.
Very mild again this morning with such a pretty blue sky streaked with pink so maybe some rain later. But the garden is dry this morning - first time in ages i haved looked out on dry paths. Calm as well so tidying up is on the cards again. Should fill up the green recycling bin this morning. Bristol had its own space as Green Capital of Europe at the Paris exhibition that went with the Climate change Summit, I saw on the telly. I do hope they showed pictures of some of our wild flowers.
Yes Snow the dogwoods are very good red this year. My white heather humps are just opening their buds now so I will soon be sticking my red sticks all over to make my joke white and red hedgehogs. It was really warm out in the garden today. I have switched off the heating but perhaps I need to remove a layer or two of clothing as the temperature is forecast to stay at 14 or 15 for the rest of this week at least.
Dull and damp again this morning but still very mild and calm till late afternoon so may get to the shops to buy my Xmas cards. They are starting to arrive here and the ones for abroad need to be posted. I may cram a bit more into the green wheeliebin afterwards to get emptied tomorrow morning.
Back from the shops and saw antirrhinums, campanulas and violas in full flower in a front garden as if it was the middle of summer. The wind is getting stronger now so I may just get started on the cards and leave the gardening till a calmer day. No rain forecast through the day till Monday and staying mild. Our part of Bristol had its Xmas lights done by the Brailsford brothers, Lee and Paul who made my super potager for me , on TV this morning and last night. They have made several of the daily papers this year too. It is just round the corner from me in the next street.
