1.20pm. I'm told it was minus 5 not minus 2 today, but we've got a clear sunny day, cool, but no clouds
Photo just prove it.
Left madam at home while we went shopping this morning and we are very subdued now on the lounge beside me, but sprawled on my lap rug. She doesn't like to be left out of these adventures. The trouble is that just lately she has started this panting caper as soon as she gets in the car and she pants all the way to town and back (50km return trip), and nothing I do will make her stop and it drives us crazy.
Flumpy, just called up the "wanted down under" site. I think we have seen something similar several years ago, but can't remember the title. I'm glad you're enjoying it. It must be hard for people to make such a change, as well as leaving family and friends.
My visitors from last week have a son-in-law who has just made the change in the last year. He married an Australian (our friend's daughter who had been living in the UK for several years). When they had their baby, they decided to move to Australia, I suppose for grandparents, etc. I believe that the husband is from Bristol, Marion, and his family must be missing them. That photo I send ages ago of the little trousers I knitted, were for them. They seem settled, have bought a house, he got a job that he seems to like, and they have access to free babysitters from family (both great grandma, grandma and grandpa, as well as cousins, aunties and uncles.
The BBC site I looked up, also mentioned follow ups on some of them, so I might get hubby to download it so that we can watch on TV. This mini IPad is hopeless for stuff like that.
Photo just now of the "mothers club" about 8 kangaroos all with full pouches who arrive late in the day for some grass. The photo is probably a bit dark, but you might be able to see some of them
Hello Pat and Marion , it's still raining cars and dogs here and will be until this afternoon in the NW , so think I'm gonna finish sorting my wardrobe out and I'm hoping the plumber is gonna turn up this afternoon as The shower is ice cold.
i've been watching the wanted down under revisited and three families so far have moved over, but they all have a trade, I'm a pharmacy Dispenser but apparently this job didn't give me enough points, if your a pharmacy technician then that gives you enough points, but my works won't let anyone do the course so that's put a stop to my career .
that picture looks lovely with the clear blue sky just need the temperature to rise a bit .
i have planted Radish seeds about three days ago in my greenhouse and would you believe they are already germinating
At last I woke to steady rain in Bristol. Forecast says it will remain till 5pm so waterbutts should be filling up. There is a small puddle above the soakaway but the water table is no way high enough for it to stay. It will be gone as soon as the rain stops no doubt. The birds like it as a birdbath in the hot weather usually but have only seen one blackbird have this treat this summer so far. I am expecting my Maid Marion Rose today.
Go to your photo, tap on your picture, edit should come up in right top corner, press edit, then in your left bottom corner it should say rotate, so rotate, then save and repeat again and put it at the right angle and save Hope that helps Pat
Morning Marion hope you are well, yes it's still raining steadily here too but the garden is getting a good water and all my planters Enjoy your maid Marion Rose
The rain had stopped so i took out my camera to snap my rain refreshed flowers and the rain started again before I had left the shelter of the garden umbrella. Ah well perhaps later in the afternoon.

Thanks Flumpy. How do you do it? I've tried putting my finger on it and also twisting, etc, but nothing works.
