Lovely photos, Marion.  You must be pleased that the sweet peas were so well received.

full daylight now and no snow on hills, so that's a plus.  Measured the rain and for all the freezing discomfort of yesterday, we only got 2.5mm.  Still, there's almost no evaporation, so I suppose the plants are Ok without any help from me.

We've just been out the back cutting another trailer load of firewood. We're getting through it this winter.

Our son is coming for a visit next week with his cats, Pixel and Image.  Here's a photo of Imie looking out the window. They love coming down here so they can look out the windows at kangaroos and birds.

     She's lovely.

Morning everyone : ), blue sky in the NW until later on that's when the rain and thunder is coming : /, Marion your sweet peas look lovely with there purple flowers too, is that your plant pot too?, did you see the meadow of flowers in the back of the wagon : ), well done Marion, you've got celebrity sweet peas. Hope you have a nice day today, I'm tidying the edges of my lawn up today ( while the weather is fine).

Good evening Pat, that's a lovely cat, it looks quite big towards our cats, is it bigger than the poodle?. How's your veggies going on?, no Jack Frost I hope?

Yes she is bigger than my poodle (and her mother).  We don't know who her father was. Our son got both mother and daughter from RSPA.

Veggies ok, but I wasnt sure how they would be this morning with our rotten day yesterday.  Today is sunny and cool, not much wind. Got two loads of washing done, so that's good.

How many days until you go back to work, Flumpy?  You must be counting the days.image

One of the seven neighbours cats who visit me regularly is a tricolour.  I do not know his name but he responds to Hullo Cat!  Yes flumpy that was my pot and the assistant producer asked me to measure it before it went and send her the measurements so she could replace it.  We have had no rain in Bristol so far just threatening clouds but the forecast seems very definite about it coming.I would like some in the waterbutts.

Hi everyone it's still dry here but a bit windy and warm, or I didn't know if thats because I've just been tidying the lawn edges, all the times I was in the garden, my friend Robin  followed me, it came right up to me image, I gave it some Seeds and placed a little water bath, there is two of them.

Pat yes I am back on Monday image Not looking forward to it at all, wish I could find a job in something I like doing. Can't believe the size of them cats, it's a bonny cat.

I was watching Wanted down Under, it's been on all week, if I win the lottery, I will take my whole family over there image.

hello GWRS hope you are well ?

Flumpy. Fancy the robin being so tame with you. I think a lot of the wildlife can tell when you don't mean them harm. Some of the kangaroos are like that with me too. I can't quite touch them. But they will stay still while I'm moving around the garden and quite close.

I'm not familiar with Wanted Down Under - is it a contest, or maybe real estate, or even, criminals?

The cat, Immi, is such a lovely cat and is very vocal and loud when she wants to tell you something. I bought some cat grass and planted it in a large pot for when they visit and put it inside near the front window for them.  They love it.

hope your return to work is not too traumatic.image

Hi Pat, wanted down under is a programme where different families are wanting to move to either Australia or New Zealand, they spend a whole week there trying jobs out and looking at properties then it's decision time image Most of them move Over but others find it hard to leave there families behind.

i would love to have a go but you have to have a trade.

if you ho on youtube, just type in wanted Down Under image
