I love orange roses. Do you know the name of it Marion? It's gorgeous.  I've got a couple - one is Crepuscule. Can't remember the other but will still have the label. I'll look tomorrow. I'm a bit tired tonight.

TY Snow.  The rose is called "The Lady of Shalott" - a David Austen rose.

Garden very wet this morning again so the rain kept on through the night but forecast is for dry today and normal for time of year temperature so at least should be able to tidy up from the paths.  I am well GWRS, TY.  You sound tiptop if you can dig up currant bushes in the allotment!  Verdun you are right.  I should be remembering my theme will be out of date when the accolade of Green City of Europe passes drom Bristol at the end of the year.  How about "My Perfume Garden and Onwards in 2016"?  Monty Don may be getting us all interested in the history of gardening but my garden is marching into the future.  I am still living each day as if it were my last and gardening as if I will live for ever.  Which reminds me perhaps I can plant up the rest of my tulips today.

So much for good intentions.  It bucketed down and I was soaked as I was nearly at the top of the garden when it started .  Ah well the conservatory needs deadheading done and watering.  I had managed to empty the gallons of rainwater into any butts that were not full up and made a mental note to tidy up the peonies now their leaves have at last succumbed to the weather.  There is a great deal needing done out there. At last a ray of sunshine and the rain has stopped so i will venture out again when I have warmed up.  That rain was icy.

Love the pics from your conservatory HappyMarion. Wish mine was like that rather than full of "stuff". Need to get out there and do some watering etc. but just had surgery on my ankle so difficult to carry watering can and get over the threshold on crutches. Very frustrating!
