Marion. I took the time to look up the Austin rose Maid Marion and was fascinated by the Connecticut connection. I'm sure you'll get lots of pleasure from the rose. Well chosen!
I had warned my son it would be a weepie but we had been through the sad story before when a young friend of ours died of Motor Neuron Disease leaving a young wife and two tiny girls and seeing how brave Rachel was and the pleasure Andrew had watching his son's delight in their new garden kept away the tears, flumpy.
Awe it's horrible and so wrong and too young, they must be very strong people and the children will probably just keep you going.
My mum and dad have just visited, my dad was admiring my flowers and said " I never thought you would of been green fingered" but that's because his garden was his garden, if that makes sense : ), just going to have my lunch in the garden as the sun is out: )
Yes my dad informed me, I thought it wouldn't last long : (, where meant to get a months rain in one day, think I better secure things down and put things undercover, I've just been reading my book all afternoon and popping in the house to cool down : ), it's been nice relaxing, we've got the plumber coming either Thursday or Friday, the shower is only doing cold water, so that woke me up this morning : )
Ho Flumpy. Did I pass our plumbing difficulties on to you? What's happening with the weather over there? You and Marion sound as though you are having a heat wave and summer storms. I can't quite see outside yet (6am) but I can see enough to know that the ground us not covered with snow, as I thought might happen. Not sure about the hills though.

Obviously your " sweet peas " will be the star of the show
Heavy rain tomorrow flumpy, I'm afraid. Even some thunder and lightning forecast.
