That is as near a perfect picture as I have seen in a long time - sticking to the golden mean with one third foreground and two thirds background, a lovely diagonal and the story is told just looking at that black cloud approaching the tiny shed and pink and blue flowers.  Well done Pat.  Bristol has been lashed by heavy wind and rain this morning too.  Duck pond outside my kitchen window and our lane has turned into a river just in time for the lollipop lady.  I hope all the children have wellies.

Thanks Marion.  I should tell you that it's not a little shed, it's a BBQ, but you couldn't be expected to know that.

this next photo was taken about 4pm when the little rainbow appeared across the valley, so I couldnt resist taking another photo. It's been a very strange day, weather wise.

Ran out in a lull to bring in the recycling bins before they get blown away and found the usual suspects weathering the storm perfectly.

Oh my goodness it looks like it has been snowing out in the garden - the hailstones are so thick.

Fine TY GWRS.  Lincoln sounds a nice place to shop - not too big and modern.  I shall do most of my Xmas shopping online or local.  Weather a bit calmer now but yellow warning for heavy rain tomorrow.  With the ground soaked as it is after all the rain today there could be  flooding.

Rain all over the country today does seem appropriate after what happened in Paris last night.  A symbol of the tears of sympathy being shed for her people.
