Lots of deadheading to do too, flumpy.  Cloudy today in Bristol and forecast to be breezy.  It is a bit cooler too.  I do hope you are recovering well.

Yes not doing anything too strenuous I've had plenty visits off my parents and brother and my doctor gave me a courtesy call which I thought was really nice of her, I'm off until 17th August. Ho my surprise was on Friday, my hubby came home in a new car (9 years old) but it looks like new, low mileage and very clean, it'sy favourite colour blue : )

Aww that sounds lovely.  It is new to you so definitely a new car.  I have been up the garden to bring down the weeds I collected yesterday to the green wheeliebin which is full again, so they will have to line up now waiting for Friday.  My neighbour has filled in the "windows" in his new wall of three of the sections - all different.  Another three to do.

Don't be working too hard Marion. Your neighbour must have a lot of patients, I bet it looks nice. It's gone very windy here but grey and dry. I have replanted my house plant as its getting big so put it in a much larger pot, I will take a photo later for you : )

I did have a few drops of rain but kept on going as it was not much so come in for dry clothes and some lunch now.  Looking forward to your houseplant picture, flumpy.

Oh Yes. love Malta.  we used to take the children to Melleiha Bay (spelling?) and one of them loved Gozo so much he has taken his partner there repeatedly.  The people are so friendly - they would invite you into see their garden and give the children pomegranites off the tree.

Amazing that's we stayed in the Malleiha Bay Hotel , great location , staff and food

Me and the O/H stayed just outside Valletta about 30 years ago the change is staging but the locals are still friendly image

Yes that is where we  used to stay.  I still make the beef and pork stew we had there.  I brought quite a few recipes home because  the children loved the food.  I never could find a place to buy there favourite fizzy drink - i think it was called Kinnie or something similar and was very pleasant - made from herbs, a bit like Coca cola but not sweet.
