That is the plan flumpy.  Garden very wet this morning but it is dry and fairly bright at the moment although the next four days forecast rain so must do as much as I can today.

My very first purchase from ebay arrived this afternoon so I watched Escape to the Country with my feet up, acknowledging my age for the first time.  It was very comfortable and my feet did feel warmer off the ground.  My armchair does have a pushout foot rest but this comes with a slouch position for sitting which I cannot tolerate so now i can have my feet up and a straight back at the same time.

Yes not a nice day weather wise , woke up to fog but the rain cleared it

would like to do a bit of gardening tomorrow , will have to see what weather like image

  • Looks very comfy Marion, and it certainly does make a huge difference to the warmth of your feet having them off the floor. Have you heard any more about your new boiler yet?

Not yet, flowers but the council's priority is to finish the work for the 1,200 families which were left without any heating or insulation.  Luckily it is still very mild in Bristol and no one has needed to switch on their heating yet.  Forecast is for wet but mild weather for the next week too.  The garden is looking very wet this morning and more rain is forecast for today till the evening but I still have the umbrella up on the patio so can plant tulips into their pots under that as long as it does not get very windy.  I am expecting a delivery of plants from the Secret Gardening Club this morning too, including white carnations for my perfume garden.
