My thought exactly Susan. I'll say good night now and close for the night.

  • Good to hear from you, Pat.  After a grim wet morning we had a delightfully sunny afternoon with a beautiful blue sky so I took my camera out spotting.

  • My friend has just picked two blooms from his rose called "Teasing Georgia" and put her on a high shelf.

Hi there Flumpy and Marion. Good photos. Flumpy, yes I think it will be a challenge to successfully prick the seedlings apart, but I'll keep them as they are for as long as possible. I wasn't very careful when I scattered them on the potting mix, so they are all mixed up.

  • I hope you had someone anchoring that ladder, flumpy!  Glad you and Pat are surfacing again and hope you both keep well now.  Eating your radishes should help, flumpy.

You're up late Marion. I didn't expect anyone to get back so soon. What is the red leaved plant?  Is it euonymus?

Good morning , nice and sunny , shame I need to do a couple of jobs in the house before going in garden image

  • That red-leaved plant is Ceratostigma plumbaginoides, Pat.  It has beautiful blue salvia like flowers which come in the autumn and the buds are showing.  I will take its picture when they open.  It really is a beauty but slow to establish hence it is being brought on in a pot.  Very wet in Bristol through the night GWRS but drying up a bit now so should get out in the garden soon. .
