I was sick while I was up the garden taking pics so something else to put on list of side effects!  Did not stop me snapping though and felt fine after i had a drink of water.

Gorgeous pictures Marion your flowers are lovely, spring is finally here! image, it's the first times I've been able to garden this year, I've dug the soil over, got rid of dead leaves and twigs, soaked my sweet pea seeds and fed my lawn, going to sow my seeds tomorrow and put them in the greenhouse...... Ho I just love gardening image.

Marion hope you get well soon, you keep wrapped up warm with a hot toddy and hot water bottle, sending my healing hugs image

Oh gosh, flumpy1.  Goodness knows what a hot toddy would do to me  - I was sick up the garden yesterday after a miniscule lunch!  I fear the side effects of my anticoagulant medicine may be more than the benefits.  I am very stiff this morning, finding it hard to walk about the house so if that persists I may have to give up in order to get to the nurse on Tuesday.  I am sure there will be a solution but cannot quite see it yet.  Man from Warm Front comes on Monday to see if I can have a new boiler .  I am quite sure I could not get through another winter with the heating as it is.I have ordered some of my favourite foods on line to try and tempt my appetite and that comes in the afternoon today.  Nausea sweeps over me when I put my lips near my cup of tea - it is the warm milk aroma I think so i shall ditch it and try mint tea with lemon.

  • Sorry your not feeling so well Marion this might help.

My wife had the norovires a few years ago could not stand the smell of tea, she drank fresh lemon slices in hot water for nearly a year before she was able to try tea again.

Hope you feel better very soon.

Oh TY The Gardeners Boy.  I did enjoy my mint tea.  My shopping has been delivered so now have to attempt to eat something!

I will second that 1runnybeak1, if I've had a bad tummy I just have boiled water and pooched egg on dry toast and ginger biscuit for the nausea, hope you get well soon Marion, just a thought are you getting side effects from your new tablets?, ring your pharmacy or doctor in the morning image Healing hugs Marion

Awwww. flumpy1 how lovely.  I have just enjoyed Poldark after eating a small but nuritious supper and do feel a bit stronger.  I had a long chat with my eldest daughter today about my symptoms while she ( a very experienced nurse) checked them on her computer and she thinks my bug is complicating things but some of the symptoms are side effects .  I am booked in for all the usual tests on Tuesday afternoon and the nurse then if worried can call in the doctor . I was going downhill so fast (strengthwise) I was afraid I would not be able to get to the surgery but I am sure that was lack of nourishment causing that.  Anyway after watching the program I was not dizzy getting up from the sofa and my legs are not wobbling like they were so all looking good.  Thank you all dear friends for your concern.  Any advice that keeps me out of A and E and becoming a bed blocker is very welcome!

I hope you feel better soon Marion. My cold turned into bronchitis, better now, but the best side effect was losing 4 lbs!
