LilyP I hope that today goes as well as it can.  I'll be thinking of you. xx.

  • I am sure everyone goes through the "if only I had or had not done/said this or that". As you say Verdun, that is life and none of us are perfect. How boring would that be?!

We can only do our best at any particular time.

My friend and I had a lovely chat and lunch yesterday, her next target is her birthday at the end of Feb. She doesn't know it yet but her family are trying to arrange a surprise 70th lunch party for her. Fingers crossed.

  • Lily Pilly, thinking of you. Hope today goes as well as it can. Big hugs x

My friend is doing well, but she is still in great pain due to the shingles. Her face still has a red mark down one side and she says one side of her nose is numb. She is still on very strong pain killers but says only eases it. She is due another check up for her cancer at the end of this month and another re stoma bag in April. She is thinking of having another op as the 'Stoma' sticks out too much.

Her daughter has now heard about her appiontment re cardiologist but its not till March!

Thank you Kef for asking and thank you once again for this thread xxx

  • Verdun thinking of you and your mum too. Best wishes and hugs x
