I don't know how long you have been there Lyn but I think any receptionist worth their salt should feel obliged to tell the doctor what you said. I hope the Doctor arrives soon and can help. Very worrying and frustrating for you.
Verdun there seems no rhyme nor reason why hospitals put people in certain wards. When my Mum was in hospital a couple of weeks ago a Polish woman was moved into her ward and had such difficulties with communication (as did the nurses). It emerged that a Polish speaking nurse was in the first ward she was admitted to. That was on the same floor and both were surgical wards. Whatever happened to common sense.
I really hope something better is worked out for your Mum soon.
Worried about the vote today. Whatever way it turns out, Scotland will be divided forever...................I hope people vote with their head and not their heart.

Hogweed - I really don't think we'll be divided forever. There are differences in the wider family and we still get on OK. In fact when I went to the polling station it was quiet and the two men outside were having a friendly chat. One with a yes and one with a no banner. It is a democracy after all, but a stupid idea to have the pubs open all night.
I'm hoping common sense will prevail - whose common sense - we'll have to wait and see.
I have spoken to my poorly friends daughter and the tests on her eyes show no damage at the moment. They will test again to make sure that they haven't deteriorated at all.
Thank you all for the kindness and support you have shown me these last few days, really means alot. X
Oh Verdun so sorry to hear your mum is a little worse. Hope you can speak to someone tomorrow thats more understanding and helpful. Thinking of you, best wishes and hugs x

Ambulance coming for mum not very good.
So sorry Lyn. You can't even go with her because of your Dad. I expect he's very worried. Thinking of you.
