  • Have just seen your news Verd. I don't come on this page very often.

My mum died a few hours after yours... how strange is that? 95, and happily never in pain, and after a happy life. No regrets except that she's not here to ask all those unanswered questions.

Thinking of you WW, no matter how old she was, she was still your mum and it doesn't hurt any the less.  It's a bit like our children, it doesn't matter how old they get they will still be our babies.

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands
  • Sorry to hear your sad news WW. My very best wishes to you and your family. x

    Thinking the same now David.

Woody I thought you had been quiet recently I'm sorry for your loss sending you my best wishes. 95 or 65 it doesn't matter someone loved and lost is so heartbreaking.

Lily & David I think I know what you both mean.

I didn't make additional posts to this thread earlier for fear of starting a hanging debate..the pain of having a loved one murdered must be unbelievable  image xx

  • Woody - please accept our sincere condolences.

Sorry to hear your sad news Woody.  You're right, she lived to a good age but you will miss her.

  • When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little–but not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared,
    Miss me–but let me go.

For this is a journey that we all must take
    And each must go alone.
It's all a part of the Master's plan,
A step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
    Miss Me–But Let me Go!

sorry my own word do not Say it as well as this- lost my mother in law three days after our wedding and she asked the hospice staff to give this to us.

Thinking of everyone who has lost someone.
