Rebecca, whereabouts are you?  I have loads of wine gubbins and OH wants me to get rid of it, a good compromise would be to get rid of some so I could let you have some Demi johns and maybe a bucket and a few other bits image You can't be far from me using a word like gubbins image

It probably is, in my old job i spoke to people in preston and leeds every day, i think a bit of the accent rubbed off! Its a very kind offer, but im not sure i have any where for them at the moment, as much as i would like to have a go! Also, i dont drive, so wouldnt be able to meet you.

Cant believe someone i have just met would make such a kind offer, thank you x
  • I need to replenish my rhubarb stock. What's your favourite variety? Not Timperely Early as that's the one I'm replacing.

Regards how to use it, my favourite as a child (and still is) was an eggcup full of sugar and a raw stick of rhubarb. I also gave this to my kids, which they loved and still remember, except they confessed recently that when I wasn't looking they used to refill the eggcup of sugarimage

If I'm honest I don't want it get rid of it, it's a bit of a bone of contention at the moment, but if I could reach a compromise and help a fellow gardener then that would be fine.  I wouldn't  give it away to just anyone image

Im sorely tempted, really cant just yet, have one of OH mates coming to stay next week, and at the moment, the spare bed cant be seen for stuff (im a bit of a mad crafter too), i wonder if i could loan them later in the year? I could try it, and you wouldnt have to say goodbye to your things. Im sure my mom would drive me to meet you. image
