I have to commend you on your work so far Mr Toast. I've said before I'DE have gone down a different path, but I totally respect it's your garden and , as such , has to meet your needs. You've clearly worked very , very hard to date and achieved wonderful results. Well done you and keep up the good work. And, keep us posted.

    Warmest Regards

Thanks Hostafan1, Like I said before it was never my intention to upset members on here with the destruction of a garden they a lot of people found great but it just was not practical to us, and I respect you're understanding of that, thanks.

Yes it has been hard work so far, the rockery I tackled today was extremely hard work, it had a retaining 90 degree wall made out of cinder block, lots of old broken patio slabs bulking it out underneath, but within two hours it was gone.

It is hard for be to believe

that in 3 weekends it has gone from what it was to the stage I am at now

I am well on target with my plans and I think it will give me the extra time to prepare the soil to a smooth bed for seeding, removing weeds roots and stones.

p.s. maybe once you've settled into your garden, you'll truly get the gardening  bug and dig up the grass and start planting again???? Fingers crossed.

Hostafan, if he puts as much effort into growing things as he does into remodelling his garden, he could grow some amazing plants image
