You have done really well Mr Toast. Bet your big rake has come in handy now!

Hi Hogweed, oh yes the rake has been a massive help, 4 bags down and 2 to go, I think I may have over ordered by 1 bag though, any ideas on how to dispose of 1 tonne of topsoil?

I couldn't help looking back to the beginning of your thread Mr Toast and what a transformationimage  A lot of hard work has gone into your garden and I expect you are looking forward to sitting down occasionally to reflect on your achievement.  The other problem may be that you are thoroughly bitten by the gardening bugimage

You were talking earlier about some raised beds to double as seating so I'd keep the bag out of sight somewhere (if possible) until you're ready to do those. Even a few raised beds will use a lot of soil so worth keeping for those. image

Or you can send it to me - I've got new  grass to do in spring as well  image

And you will be surprised how much it goes down once you have trodden it a few times. And yes, raised beds are calling for any left over topsoil!

Treading commences at 9am tomorrow, depending on the weather and how many beers I drink.
