Good lad..........you don't want to miss out on Dove's cakes
I love cake and have a sweet tooth, besides this turned up in the post today, a nice big landscape/soil rake in preparation for me levelling the lawn area. At a bargain price of £17
Should help to prepare the soil, one question I do have is I think I am going to sieve the soil before I buy some topsoil due to the amount of stone, Is there an easy way to sieve or is it just going to be a long job hand sieving?
Or am I wasting time by sieving it?
The garden is 99 Square meters so it is a big area to sieve by hand.
Do you mean 'normal' stones or the remnants of your gravel paths? I have forgotten whether you said you were going to seed it or turf it..................

I am planning to seed around September, I am getting the bulk of the stones from the path up with a shovel, there will be some left as it will be impossible to get them all out by hand, there will also be some Dead weed roots and other debris on the ground, a little bit to much to take out by hand.
I would try and dig in as many of the gravel type stones as possible. You are going to spray it all with weedkiller ? If so that should kill any roots left that are likely to sprout. Try to rake out as much as possible, firm it and rake it again. Your saving grace is that you have a few months before you sow it to primp it thoroughly.
