Hi Mr T, I'm not sure how I missed this thread when you first started. If I'd know you were in Manchester I would have come and git some of those plants you were disposing off from you

I must admit, having gone back to the beginning I was a bit surprised at you digging everything up, but as others have said it's your garden and with a dog and 3 young children I can sort of understand it. You've worked really hard and done a fantastic job.

As for you comment yesterday regarding the evil weed that shall remain unmentioned.....l can empathise with you on that one having just spent an hour on my veg patch......angry face!! (Smilies not I working)

Well done and welcome to the forum, I'm glad you've stayed and you will learn loads here image

There's still 7, 8, 9, 10 days or more to goimage  I love your impatient enthusiasm.  Wish I could see your face when you look out of the window and you imagine it looks slightly green - it will doimage

Mr T - once your grass has grown (it will, IT WILL!) - you'd better watch out for those two women that nicked that front lawn recently! image

    I suggest a cctv camera....image

What you need is to get your sprinkler rigged up with a motion activator....a good drenching will get rid if them!  image

When IT happens there will be just the slightest haze / hint of green as you look out the window. You will think at first your eyes are deceiving you after the long wait. You will go out and find one seed sprouted. You will look closely and find a second one - then a third, a fourth ... a hundred. You will do a silly little dance because it worked. imageimage

Been there - have the T-shirt. Keep the faith - just another day or two & we can all have a beer on you image

    Day 7 Update...

I got up for work this morning and nothing..

..I got home from work and looked out the window and as per topbird's post I though my eyes were deceiving me. On closes inspection WE HAVE GRASS...

This pic does not show it very well but it is definitely coming through.

Topbirds;s description is exactly how it is.
