Pelleted chicken manure is my general fertiser of choice but Growmore would do or a liquid feed like Phostrogen.

Great stuff, Mr Toast!  The grass is looking good too - it always wears under swings etc, but you can get some mesh to sink into it to reduce the wear, if it starts getting muddy - you pin it down and the grass grows through it.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Thanks guys, yep the kids are loving the space, I have some more plans but because I am doing everything myself it may take awhile.

Great stuff MrT! I hope you find some time and nice weather to enjoy it a bit too - you deserve to enjoy it a bit after all your grafting. image

Fence painting is a tedious job but well worth it so that you have a good backdrop for the future...just in case we can persuade you to put lots of plants back in..... image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • I'm sure he could squeeze in the odd plant, maybe a couple of small fruit trees to teach the kids where food comes from?

  • Help how much  Gallup 360 per 10 litres for garden weeds ( bindweed and other pain in the butt weeds )   Thanks
