verdun beautiful, lovely, stupendous. BL love polemoniums but finally realized i had to stop torturing them-although i still yearn after brise d'anjou. back from the deep desert and saw these almost as i stepped in the gate. the clematis is tie dyed-put in this spring and doing well in half shade.
Your gardening effort haven't gone unnoticed OL, you've done amazingly well after a fairly short time and I've followed your sweet pea progress on the SP thread.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Thank you Lizzie, it just doesn't seem like it when there is so much colour and such an abundance of flowers about and despite my efforts I get one or two nice flowers, apart from my SP's which are doing brilliantly though
Just to to prove I managed a few sweet peas (these are 5' tall, came by their own free will after trying last year in a tub). The ones I have sown this year are 5" and no flowers!
Monarda, has gone mad this year, soon to take over the whole garden!

It's no wonder my gardening efforts go unnoticed with everyone else's lovely plants and pics, lovely David as always.
