I haven't posted in this section before but often look through it at all the nice pictures.

I was sat out today in my rain shelter/shack and the Ribes and Chaenomeles (look at me knowing names) looked so nice that I got my camera.

Yes, ha! it's a bit embarrassing really. It's a crude structure I built without a clue what I was doing. I wanted a place at the bottom of the garden, where I could sit out when it was raining. So I built this thing with half a wood roof, and half corrugated plastic, so I could hear the rain patter on it and sit in there and read. Now I just need to grow enough stuff around it to disguise this monstrosity image

It's also a place where I meditate, and also a place where I plan to put all the tat and ornaments that my OH won't allow me to have in the house image It survived the horrible winds we had and so far keeps me dry no matter how heavy the rain.

The roof is plastic. Yes, ha! the moon in the room works and I have the remote for it. I also have the odd cheeky glass of wine on an evening in there. I've just been looking through all the posts on evergreen climbers and shrubs as I want to not be able to see it from the other end of the garden.

I built made an arch to go through to it but at the moment it looks like a right mess. This is a picture from the top of the garden,

I moved all the shrubs forward late last year and now am trying to fill it all in again. I want that whole end area to be covered then you walk through the arch to secluded area. That is my cat on his lookout I built across the top.

Is that a solar light on the front of the roof?

image The amount of time and money spent on it, it'd probably have been cheaper buying a shed and taking the front off.
