LesleyK it is a Dicentra. Still has the typical bleeding heart flowers, but with that beautiful lime green foliage, which looks great in the shade.
Fb. I have real problems identifying Meconopsis, they are so promiscuous, and the differences between them often so small. Love your garden, green is the most important colour, and dont forget, a Chelsea garden would look terrible for most of the year.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Gosh this a wonderful thread and what fantastic gardens you all have.
Here a couple of my piccies. A bold as brass lupin (called zebra, I think). I found him stressed out and being sold off on the cheap at the garden section of a large DIY store. And a cheeky 'in ya face' bright pink primula, (a candelabra?) again another stressed plant bought cheap at a supermarket, I think it looks lush against the lime green euphorbia, and helps my compost bin not to be such an eye sore. They just make me feel so cheery when I see them.

My climber 'The Pilgrim' is starting to show.

Punkdoc, what is the lime green plant behind the blue poppies. I have a blue poppy which has a bud now and I'm getting impatient to see it open.

Have to have pompoms.
Aquilegia pom poms followed by Allium Purple sensation, followed by globemaster, followed by Allium christophii. Then peony flowered opium poppies.
Was lovely and sunny, went to get camera and the sun went in, been cloudy ever since.
