Chicky, it was almost dark and I used the flash so the background looks darker, I'm quite pleased though because I was just 'messing' and they came out just like I wanted, especially the rose Thank you for your compliment
Lovely photos .. Im starting to feel it will be years until I have any plants that are mature as at the moment its all new planting or plants that have been moved from the old garden and patchy is the best way to describe it (especially the lawn area).
Miserable today but busy over the weekend moving 8 tons of gravel onto the drive. Slowly getting there.
Yikes think its time to split those primroses up and move them into the woods they look like cabbages!!
Off to start on some raised beds in the rain. I have split the back field into different areas and cant wait to get a veg area up and running. Not to sure what the sheep will think of it though!!!
It looks amazing Ighten and although my garden isn't as big as yours, that's what I thought a few months ago with 2 new borders to fill and I didn't know where to start, now they look like they have always been there
I agree ighten - its looking great. Every time we see pictures another part of your plot has been transformed . Lovely lupin in amongst the primrose cabbages!
KEF - love the colour of that dark purple clematis- and your angelica is looking statuesque too!

My little veggie area
All the twigs & sticks are to keep unwanted guests off.
That's great KEF. Love the Icicle radishes
. But where are all the weeds?
Igten you have worked so hard and it's looking lovely.
Steve thanks, we've already eaten the weeds.
That looks great KEF, what pests do the twigs keep off? The birds? I might try that
Your spuds look fab, I still keep topping mine up, not sure when to stop!!
