second bloom delphiniums very good this year. matt by midsummer britain seems wonderful to me but then its sept. and i know we have 2 or possibly 3 months of great weather still to come and its yippee!!! your climber wall is luscious.
The new Roscoeas and Cautleyas are now planted in the pear tree bed. The Primula viallii are a bit confused. Some have seed heads, others have decided to flower again. I have an oriental poppy thats sending up another flower as well.
Rudbeckia goldsturm, finally survived the slugs and got going.
The long border. I need to put in a mowing edge of bricks. OH tends to mow anything that looks like grass. Unfortunately thats what the harebells look like at the moment.

beautiful salvia-my barely hardy mojaves take all summer to recover then bloom in sept.
