Just had to show a picture of my Blue Spruce. We bought it at the GC for Christmas and re-potted it to use every year. I'm pleased to see all the new growth come on. I wanted to wait till all the brown bits fell off the buds first!
This is the first year they have flowered as most I got as small plugs that needed bringing on. I'm pleased with them but I will remember to stake them earlier next year
Thank you KS and VS, LK, and Chicky....( You can buy the coloured pots 3 for £9 in Homebase).
Your Poppies look lovely and colourful VS, and your Blue Spruce looks very unusual KS with the green planting underneath it at the bottom of the pot. It really shows it off.
I agree LK, most things in my garden have been recycled and bought very cheaply off ebay etc. Even most of my plants were from the reduced sections in garden centres...luckily they've come back to life.
Chicky, it's a Koi pond, so we have a few of them and some goldfish too ( those will go to his parents shortly as I think he wants to concentrate on just Koi).

I'm in West Lothian, near Livingston Percy - so not too far away from you.

Your spruce looks very healthy and attractive KS.
I like your pots as well Mich4
Very colourful
I can't see your pics Berghill, I keep getting an error, unless it's just my iPad having a tantrum...
Here's a pic of my poppies from a few days ago that I couldn't put on
My royal wedding one keeps getting buds and then rotting so I shall be content to look at other people's pics of them
Eye splitting colours VS - gorgeous.
Thanks Forester2

Thanks for the nice comments about the spruce. I'm dead proud of it as they usually die on me!
We planted lots of Anemone corms around the base of it and they've just gone out of flower, a lovely blue also.
I was going to take some more photos but it's chucking down with rain here!
Meant to say I like your poppies VS. Are they orientals?
I got some ladybird poppies free with a magazine, GW I think? They're just starting to sprout.
This is pretty close to what my garden looks like from the window today.. Yuk!
