Stagbattle , hope you get you allottment , this is a great site for ideas and advice from people growing thing , books are helpful but can't beat practicle advice
Fruitcase , thanks for the picture , never knowingly seen fox poo before ! Best of luck , keep us advised
Fingers crossed you won't loose any chucks to the fox fc, not so sure about the rabbit keeper though there's one thing keeping them another killing them for the pot.
Well, a week before I can get down to the plot again, already getting withdrawl. Think I'll make a plan this week of when/what to sow and where to plant.
I start a 'to do' list off at the beginning of each month but it doesn't matter if somethings don't get done they just join the next list. I've been meaning to start more garlic off since December
Is it too early for the post yet? Not that I'm eager for the allotment but it would be fab if I could get it soon so that I can start sorting it. I have joint problems so want to take it easy and clear and plant bit by bit depending on the state of the plot.
my sister is giving her window ledge propergater so hopefully I get get some things started.
I emailed the rabbit guy yesterday and woke up to a reply from him this morning. He isn't fussed about the fox and has even named it! He said that the fox is quite tame and just lounges round the plots, sleeping. Yeah, of course it will, until it spots my girls!
Fruitcake , yes I can understand your concerns , if it is well fed perhaps it will leave your chickens alone but who known! I bet his rabbits are well caged
I read some where that you can stop baggers coming into your garden with human urine , would if it works with foxes ?

I've been sitting here making a list of what I need to do at my other plot. Hopefully I'll be up there tomorrow

Stagbeetle, the best advice I can give you is that when you look at your plot for the first time, take lots of photos! And then post some on here
