Gardengirl , I would definaetly chase up the Council By asking them for an update

I would also go and see if there are any empty plots on the sites and if there are I would ask the Council to clarify the situation , perhaps ask other plot holders what's happening

    Best of luck image

    Here you go Weyplotter

This pic below is the peach tree I have had a few years from a 2 year old and got a peach from last year, its a container area now it has a nice stem that just goes over the plastic green house when up

You can just see the small peach tree to the right of the pic with the labels on

Then put in mixture back to reality.not sure about using it.

GWRS that's a shame about the peach - mine is not completely sheltered, Glad that your potatoes arrived, I grew Nadine before and done well

Maybe I will contact the council

Thanks GG, all I need now is a couple of good weekends now weather wise and I'll be free to go chicken shopping image

hope you get some good news with the council image

  • Thanks Gardengirl for your input on peach tree and for sharing your pictures they are lovely. Not sure how old my tree is will have to wait until its delivered. Hadn't realized they take so long to fruit and then only one peach! There are 3 mouths to feed in my hse perhaps I ought to buy another just to make sure we do get a peach on the tree!

As mentioned already I would ring the council and perhaps do this on a regular basis so that you are 'visible' There can be lots of politics and being on the WL isn't always fair and square which I found out in my case.

Managed to get lots done on the plot. The beds are surrounded by lawn so I've been edging them and planning to put timber round to smarten them up a bit.

Roy- I also like the red type of bordeaux. Nice about the skip we have it twice a yr and gets filled up really fast.

    Fruitcake-chicken hse how lovely.

Will you be giving names to your chicks, fruitcake...friends son named one of his KFC image

It's forecast snow here before the weekend but I've a list of no dig jobs to do. Plan to spend a few hrs Saturday morning on the plot putting in a fence were the old shed once stood.

Good luck with the council Gg, sounds a good plan to keep enquiring.
