Just as well I'm not in Australia thenimage I came home with a small aloe vera too. They were all purchased legitimately from a garden centre.

Within the EU you can bring up to 5 packs of seeds as long as they are for personal use, same with plants. I was responsible enough to check this before I bought them.

    I consider myself justified.

Hope I didn't give the impression that I was criticing you Fruitcake. I was only concerned that our quarantine laws would not allow me to send my collected seeds overseas.  hubby worke d for quarantine, years ago, and they were quite strict then. Not up to date on rules now.

No Pat, I didn't think you were being at all critical. I know it's much stricter from outside of the EU

Here's a photo that you all might like - it's in the back area of our property.  This eucalypt has obviously been invaded by something years ago.

Hi all, went to the plot over the weekend. Decided to bin the cauliflowers and a few of the cabbages, as every bug on the planet had decided to have a feast on themimage even though they were netted and slug pelleted!! Dug the ground over and planted some squash plants that needed a home instead.

Great dalias GWRS, I have grown some at home this year, they are really good value.

Loving all the pics. I took some last night so will try and upload them soon. image

GWRS your dahlias look great started seeing all the dark coloured foliage ones this year, got my own ones grown from seed that still need planting

Went to the allotment yesterday got some more soil in the hole that was dug out and watered my plants, spitting and wet today

also in the morning at the allotment site went and talked to the police people that came they had leaflets and little card poster saying nothing valuable left inside the shed to be put on your sheds (will do when I get one) and free pens given out - police lady said good if you don't padlock the door of shed as more damages will have to be paid out by yourself

good to get ideas about the break ins  non recently, apparently when they do they can do lots of sheds at ones like 30 of them, they some times pick wet or windy days as think they will be heard less as less people around
