Pallets , I have given up trying to get hold of them , also problem in getting them in car

one of our Allotmenteers had to buy some to stand his water cube on them

thats what makes us gardeners so creative , having to improvise

just got Kings seed catalog via our allottment ass , going to try a few different things image

Had a lovely afternoon in the veggie garden, managed to clear the long central area of weeds, other half was well impressed when he got home.....feeling smug lol. Luckily we didn't get any rain until 4pm but it's forecast for tomorrow so doubt I'll get much more done.

hope everyone is keeping well image

Yes, thanks Woo2 image I'm  impressed with your weeding too, such an arduous task.

Getting frustrated with the constant rain, the sun did shine  yesterday - during my visit to the dentist!

I've been studying  Kings seed catalogue this week GWRS and am enjoying planning what to grow in the beds. Have to get the order in soon. Be interested to know what you decide on. image

I must get to the allotment today as I want to work out the best place to plant beans. I'm going to plant on the 'north/south axis' so need to see what I can grow to each side of them.

Have a good day everyone image

Well it's 'blowing a hooley' and raining as forecast so no more weeding today image, but hey it's my birthday so I won't feel too guilty.... My house resembles a florist at the moment and the colours are brightening up my day. I would like an area set out for growing cut flowers in the future so as im confined to barracks I think I will take down some notes from the last few GW episodes where Rachel made a cutting garden area.

BizzieB you are very organised, I haven't even sent for seed catalogues yet...am I too late? You can tell I'm a novice image.....well that's another job for this afternoon then!

Happy birthday woo image I don't know if you can find on you tube but Rachel did a brilliant dedicated episode to cutting flower gardens on the series the great British garden revival image

Also there was a thread on here too, I'll try and bump to the top for you image

I'm hoping too next year to create a cutting flower bed or two! image

Organised? Me? Huh! I was given the catalogue when I had the allotment last month and its been staring me in the face since then image so teed-off with the rain decided to check it out. You're not too late.

Blowing a gusty hale here - the side garden fence is wobbling a lot  image   must go and see what can be done.

Beaus Mum, have visited YouTube and watched Rachel Thane,,,,,I had seen it before but had forgotten about it (must be an age thing)! But it was lovely to watch again and I've written down loads so thank you!
