I doubt you need lessons, marion.

I think you could teach the young uns a thing or two.

Aaawe look at all those colourful Gazanias and I would love to have a summer house like that image

  • I will now try to show you some pics from Upton House and Gdns (National Trust) where the beauty of some of the plantings took your breath away.

If you lift your gaze from the top of the fifth balustrade from the right you will see on the horizon a huge green bird.

  • Such a lot of colour in my garden now.

  • I planted a "white" hibiscus in the spring.  it has started to flower - top photo on previous post.  Only partly white but unusual to have a two coloured flower.

Looks like you have mastered the new pc Marion, those photos are really sharp and clear image .

Have noted the gardens to visit, lovely  colourful borders. Thank you for sharing them image

A chilly, bright start to the morning, will wait for it to warm up as planting bulbs in a shadier part of the garden (missing those warm early starts to my day!) and must take some garden photos to remind myself of how it changes now its coming into autumn.

    Enjoy the day image

  • Chilly in Bristol too, Bizzie B, only 9degrees in the conservatory when I opened it this morning.  Lots to do.

  • What a glorious day of gardening in the sunshine I have had.  The green wheeliebin is full up for emptying tomorrow with prunings, the six saladings for Mr. Fothergills Nation of Gardeners Trial have been sown and I have gone on safari all round the garden taking pictures - so many pink things in flower and my gazanias are still giving.  T

Marion, Upton house gardens look gorgeous, I will have to visit there one day definitely, your garden too is still looking colourful, I can't believe how long all our flowers are flowering and the lawns so lush image
