Yes, blue skies and fluffy. Louds here this morning and a cool breeze - we'll need it as the day heats up. Watered last evening, having to resort to tap water but keep it in several watering cans and buckets to warm up and for the limescale elements to 'naturalise'. On a rota system for the established plants, keeping an eye on the shrubs.

A late start to the day for me. Spent time getting to know the ins and outs of using this Tablet camera. Discovered re-sizing and pixels will improve photo sharpness. Now trying to find a way to file all these photographs. Most interesting.

The weekend will be quiet so taking time to watch the garden grow and plan where to set the herb 'plot'.

    Enjoy the day image

    Hi Marion

How did you get into this Mr F thing? Sounds very interesting!

My garden is starting to look a bit empty now that I've taken loads of veg plants and some bedding plants to the allotment. I've been there loads in the last few days, but in this weather, the only shade there I can get is in front of the shed. I have a small 24' by 12' bed there so put in some bedding plants that I got from aldi.

My giant fuchsias are starting to flower now though so all is not lost in my garden image

Have a lovely time flumpy 1.  what glorious weather for it.  Fruitcake, it has been much too hot to do heavy work in the garden this week.  I get my flower plant fix from our local flower shop.  She really gets some bargains an well grown plants and of course they get well watered.  Flumpy1, I saw the advert from Mr. Fothergills in the gardening news page of Amateur Gardening Weekly and answered it.  I was accepted immediately and from then on it was one exciting thing after another.  Off to the Botanic Gardens this morning .  I expect there will be lots of visitors on such a fine day as this.  I will not take my camera as I am giving a tour to my FB friends but no doubt they will be getting lovely shots to write about.
