Good morning Dove, KEF and Fairygirl. What a sight to wake up to from Bill If I had seen it last night I would have had nightmares thinking of the damage they were doing outside.
At least you have a nice early appointment Dove - hope it goes well. Very dull and damp here too Fg. At least the birds are singing their little heads off so all is well with the world.
Morning Supernoodle. Not as many magpies here as there were a few years ago. Did you see the magpie and raven get the baby rabbits on Springwatch last night. Very clever birds but so difficult to watch. I keep reminding myself its only nature but have to watch through my fingers

Arghhhh, shudder!!! Slugs! Yuck! (girlie whimper).
Morning Fg and Lesley
My birds are shouting rather than singing at the moment - there's a couple of magpies about!
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I get magpies too. Usually see one and frantically scan the garden for another because of the rhyme. Neurotic.....
Oh wow that's a monster!!!
Supernoodle - what is the rhyme? I must confess I don't actually know it!!
One for sorrow, two for joy
Three for a girl, four for a boy.
Five for silver, six for gold
Seven for a secret never to be told.
and for those of us over 27 ....# Maaagpie!
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
