I dont mind campaining etc as long as it dosent get out of hand and dosent effect me, i dont think there is much im bothered enough to campain about, fair doos to those who do, especially when they do something funny
I know what you mean Yvie, i used to HAVE to wear nail polish as part of my job when i was a beautician, hate the stuff now, only comes out for very special occassions!

When you're sat in the chair or whatever it is this afternoon Bekkie you will just have to keep thinking about Fairygirl's one liners.....I now have an image of a fairy kicking Alex Salmond in the wotsits
All tidying up jobs done and all white appliances on so gonna get out in the garden now, it's nice here and quitewarm when sun comes out
OL can't believe you only just got funny image of Bekkie now!

I use to straighten hair and then in pics realised I looked like an old witch! So whilst offwork I've gone with new style called just put a couple of curls in with tongs and tell everyone it's my new hippy look! They actually said I look younger at work And with styling spray they stay in two or three days which is good all round as less time to mess about in the mornings
Thank you Yviestevie for bday best wishes and will pass on when he comes in as he is moody chappy right now up the road still waiting for tow truck!

Yviestevie glad you found your shoe! And hope your not aching too much still after moving the well lid! I said you was naughty for doing
Will be thinking of you at two bekkie xx
Yviestevie when do youhave your surgery, sounds horrid
Having retired (?!, never worked so hard in my life) to rural France can honestly say not doing hair/makeup is heaven, also high heels/suits in charity shop, thank goodness.
Funnily enough yesterday one of the straps on my gardening camisole kept falling down, so there and then in the garden whipped it off and tied a knot it it. Bit surreal because would never have done that in the UK, but here can go days without seeing a soul! And not even a leylandi in sight.
Might have to make an effort Tuesday though, meeting BL!
TV is v. technical, have 3 remotes (why???) have to be on correct Hdmi thingy, choice of about 3/4, have to press 1 or 2 on another gadget and then scroll through hundreds of rubbish pages to find BBC, and if not careful Chase McCain Lego computer game arrives on screen with little man running over people - you can see why I lose the will to live with it.If you want to watch a film - there is yet another gadget you sort of swipe. I believe it is a conspiracy to keep me out of TV room so OH & sproglet get to watch Top Gear (over & over again.) Only wanted to watch a bit of something whilst doing the ironing!
Back to nettle stew prep then ( might put it in farmers field to keep smell away, do you think he will notice?

I think Mr Salmond may only have Wotsits down there anyway...
OL- you can have a brew - I just made you one to go with mine
If I don't get my hair cut every 4 or 5 weeks it's unmanageable. I'd look like a right old harpie if I left it a year! I'm sure I was a hobbit in a former life...or a chimp....oh yes, I forgot, I was one of those a few million years ago. Hope I've evolved slightly more than some of the others you see nowadays though ...
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I was blessed with my hair thank goodness, my nanny cat was irish and passed on the good hair, but it takes some dealing with, i hate going to the hair dressers, apart from the scalp massage
I like hobbits and chimps Fairy
Right, walkies now, then physio, should see you all later

OL - I'm campaigning for the 'no campaigning campaign' if you fancy joining me....
I think they glued themselves to the Dept of the Environment door ...I had to laugh
Wouldn't it be funny if they sent some workmen along to do some painting....
and if any of those b***** referendum clowns knock on my door in the next few weeks they'll get a kick in the jigglers....
You can always hop Yvie
I'm enjoying this non working week! So this is what it's like to retire... I can but dream...
