my sympathies DD - I am always like a cat on a hot tin roof when my chicklets go away tooimage.  I'm sure he will have a great time, but that doesn't make it easier until he's back home againimage

Morning all. Monday (unless I have a school visit) is my day off. So can someone please explain why I'm the one that has to get up, turn off the alarm, and get out of bed to make a certain person a cup of tea, as he's going into the office early? image

4'C outside so at least all those workers wont be having to defrost their cars! I'll have to check the weather man and see how North Doves storms are hitting.

    Good luck with the electrician.

    Hi everyone

@Chicky, a ten mile yomp in January is impressiveimage

@SGL, we had the fog last night and the view of the warm and cosy houses from the bottom of my garden while walking Flynn reminded me of a movie scene

@ Sunflower Lady, I'm landscaping my veg plot this year and hoping to install my first greenhouse so I'll be glad to keep up with your progress. It's all very exciting!

Not so exciting on this sodden January morning here in Kent, but still can find room in my day for a peek at my compost bins and some clearing. Also, the puppy needs food and the pet store just happens to be opposite a GC so...I will keep you informedimage

    Good morning allimage

Not a bad morning here either.  I just wish the ground would dry up a bit so I could get weeding at the back of the border.  All the Christmas decorations are going back up the loft today and then normality will resume.

Ahh - pet store opposite GS - that's why you got a puppy Wintersongimage

Hope all the workers have as good a day as possibleimage

  • Morning all.

Chrismas decs coming down today.....always looks do bare for awhile.

Wintersong, enjoy the GC....err sorry pet shop image

DD, hugs know how you're feeling. Hope the week goes quickly for you.

    Have a good day everyone.

    TTFN x

Good morning, it's very very damp here but not as cold as yesterday

Our Garden Centres are all together in the clyde valley, lovely spot but you have to make a point of going you never just "pass" them! Therefore temptation avoided!

Christmas over here now too  I always buy hyacinths for Jan really makes me think of better days to come image

Good idea about the hyacinths LilyPimage.  I was going to buy flowers to brighten the place up but you have reminded me of the gorgeous scent.

Morning all. Thick fog Not looking like shifting any time soon.

Back to normality day today, although I did work a couple of days over xmas this is it-start of the long hard slog.

On a brighter note, so far (ok it's only 9.15) but work colleagues are all behaving and getting along nicely (bit of a hitch when there was no milk for coffee but that's rectified now).
