Morning forkers,  Sounds like everyone is chirpy this morning.  Cloudy and raining here.  Not good for gardening but great for the garden.

Hope poorly cats and dogs perk up soon, hate seeing animals in pain.

Haven't anything planned today, thinking about popping over to David Austin Roses as I have my eye on a rose but planting it means attacking some tree roots which I'm not feeling so keen abot today. Mind you the alternative might be h*******k, talk about a rock and hard place.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Just about to go for a walk with OH.  Dodging showers, I imagine...

Hope  Shadow, Flatface and all are feeling better today!  image

Why is it that, by the time I've showered, breakfasted, given the house a quick wipe over and fed the birds, the grey rainclouds roll in? image

Its lovely here and very warm.

I had a lovely afternoon at hostafans house, they are both lovely people.

Hosta is an expert gardener, its fantastic there. There is a huge lake, I would pitch a tent and live down there.

Its only about 16 miles from me, I would love to go again in the summer when a different lot of plants will be out. I will take my tent with me!,

Lyn, how lovely that you had a visit with Hostafan - very envious that you've seen his garden at first hand image

He ran along the wall to see me after my morning shift, eye all oozing goo and closed shut but very vocal and pressed to see me, swept him up and took indoors for another salt water bath which opened it up image and the eye lid swelling has gone down image he and Harrie shared a bowl of food and are now sleeping in a sunny patch in the kitchen image
