I would love to be in that swimming pool right now, where is it? The weather looks gorgeous?, it's raining and very muggy in the NW so no gardening today.
Yesterday I placed an order (car accessory) with Amazon at 13.40, this came with a Parcel Force tracking facility...which reads like so: Order placed 13.40, order collected 15.31 (Southampton) order loaded for delivery (Birmingham) 05.38 .....delivered to customer 09.45.
I'm sure you'll agree, 19 hrs delivery (free btw) is pretty amazing. But oh dear, this is doing nothing for the demise of our high streets.
Oooh Rb - Shingles isn't fun - I know - hope you get rid of it soon. Don't overdo it! I was told I'd got Shingles because I'd 'overdone things'.
Plumber has gone - drain unblocked and washbasin fully functioning. Now all we have to do is find a matching replacement floor tile! Plumber will come back tomorrow morning to service the boiler as he's gone off to an emergency call out.
I just phoned OH to let him know and discovered he's just been a hero - a colleague found a man in one of the storerooms, she told him to leave - OH went a few moments later to check that he'd gone and found him in the office rummaging around - OH assumed an authorative tone and told him 'on yer bike and don't come back'. Intruder said he was 'looking for a pen to write a phone number down'. OH said he looked like a junkie
The boss is off with a migraine (she's just moved house and daughters have had A level and GCSE results this week), but when she's back they're going to have to review security. There were break-ins at the GC and another business on the site earlier in the week.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Had five hours x2 at mum's in her garden, I'm sure I said we would not do that again She was well pleased and insisted we had a reward don't usually accept anything but she insisted so we now have £15 for a meal out for us both LOL

Flumpy, it's in the Dordogne and yes it is very hot, been in the garden for less than an hour weeding and have had to come in to cool down a bit.
