re Caravans - you know the competitive ex I was talking about earlier? He once decided to tow a caravan through central London via Picadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square - when the police stopped him and asked him 'What the h*ck he thought he was doing???" his answer was, 'I like a challenge'. The police left him in no doubt that unless he followed their instructions immediately he was likely to be lynched by a posse of London cabbies. We had a police escort out of the city centre and instructions not to do it again!!! Wonder if Wonky remembers???

My son did the sound for Paul Young for a big concert - think it was in Morocco - he used to have such a glamorous sounding life - thing is he says he never had time to enjoy it.

Dove, we weren't allowed to watch ITV either as Dad said it was common so don't know how you got away with it!
Not sure about your pin ups guys....but I'm an odd one! Christopher Walken, peter o Toole, but when old drunk and posh, and of course my handsome hubby!
DD, I frighten my hubby into DIY, I just pick up the hammer and threaten to do it myself....I use a hammer for everything so this unnerves him! I also named the hoover after an 'exotic' movie star and now he's the only one allowed to use it! I iron very badly...even though I'm very good as used to have to iron wedding gowns!....but if you do it badly once...you won't be asked again!
Off for cat club.....a neighbours cat has been included now as his owner is cycling round the world, so guess who's been roped in!
Enjoy your earnings Kef!
Dove chat to you and brave OH over the weekend! ....told you the plumber would find an excuse to have to come back!......stop feeding them!
Hope its not shingles Runny! Take care, hope you feel better!
Aww Lesley that's very kind of you, my friend is doing ok re the cancer but is still in a lot of pain with the shingles. There's a rosey mark one side of her face and forehead. And part of her nose and cheek is numb. She still takes very strong pain killers every day. But she's getting there. Thank you so much for asking x
Sending hugs RB, take care xx
Dark hair for me too
Hoping for sun tomorrow, been like autumn these last few days.
Thank you for your advice WW re non domesticated OH. Unfortunately he lives in a little world of his own and rarely notices anything going on around him - for which sometimes I am truly grateful.
RB hope the tablets make you feel better.
SGL best wishes to your friend too, I was wondering about how she was doing too.
Just back from seeing Charlie play his part of an alien in end of holiday club show, the kids all enjoyed it - and the adult helpers, think like me most of the audience hadn't got a clue what was going on, but we all clapped and cheered at seemingly appropriate moments - and we did get free quiche & cake.
