Sounds lovely Dove, nice for a mother and daughter to do stuff together.

Always feel that an autumn Saturday should include Dr Who.

    Love to WW.

Morning everyone. I've been busy today so I missed the early posts.  Transplanted more tomatoes, cut back the oregano then spent ages getting it cleaned and into the drying machine. Converted the stewed strawberries into jam in desperation. Picked more strawberries and thinking about what to do with them. Jam will probably be the answer because at least they don't need freezing.

I picked an armful of chard and Hubby made a cheese and chard tart.  Snuck a bit for lunch, but will have more tonight for dinner.

    Morning all

Back from our brief sojourn in Luxembourg - pics soon.  Very Novembery here.

Jam is the way forward, Pat.  I have 35 jars in my cupboard, so no C*******s shopping needed.  How do you get your strawberry to set?  I refuse to spend what they want for sugar with added pectin.

Morning Pdoc, I'm not planting bulbs today either, it does look like a snuggle down with a movie day! Enjoy!

    Good morning all, afternoon Patimage

What a lovely, but busy, day you have planned Doveimage.

Pat it sounds as though you are getting back to normal after your visitorsimage.  I wouldn't mind a glut of strawberries at the momentimage.

Steve, re no Christmas shopping - I'm sure your OH will be delighted with her jar of jamimageimage.

Quiz night tonight so I'll have to hope my memory is better then than it is nowimage

    Have a good day everyoneimage

Read back and all very amusing (except for Gertie's car),  poor Hosta. image

Lovely day here, bright & sunny - will get those bulbs in today - honest. image

Have to take Charlie to an athletic competition this afternoon, at the same event last year I ended up in charge of the shot put scoring - will probably get roped into something else again too - I hope whatever it is not quite so dangerous. image

Have a good day all whatever you are doing - or not doing. image
