Don't understand this, when I look at the BBC weather site it doesnt forecast really cold weather, the lowest overnight temperature is 3 degrees. I thought it would have to be lower to get a really good frost.

I did Google Savlon and cats for Wonky and it said it was ok, but I think she's decided to stick to salt water for the time being.

    We've an amazing sunset!!! image

Thank you all fir the well wishes for Flatface image and thank you for the advice! Stuck with salt water in the end and he was watching birds in the garden with a full belly when I left for work image he can open his eye, he was lucky, a claw went above his eye and below it but think he must have blinked cuz the eyeball seems to be working fir bird watching image I'm gonna check on the little chap when I return from work at 10.30pm and again in the morning I will bath it in salt again if he's about lol....but difficult as he's not my Cat! Some people are rubbish pet owners, I havealready had toworm and de-flea him! And give him a pouch of food a day and shelter as his owners don't give a ****, his coller was to tight and strangling him....makes mesosad as he's such a friendly fella. thank you topbird, I willtake him to the vets tomorrow if I'm not happy with his progress image

yes LesleyK, they do have their fair share of luck and nine lives!

Please send ginger biscuits and lashings of tea. I have some serious work to do! Anyone know any secret millionaire s who want to fund an education department?! Surely between us we know more than just Verdun.

Also mooching around the garden and I'm starting to think my generically unhappy garlic might be going rusty. Am I safe in thinking it doesn't render the crop inedible? image
