Ooh Bizzie you have more guests than me and they are not even paying, I hope they help with the washing of bed sheets after!
Until now was very pleased with our pool, seems a bit tame in comparison.
I am very competitive, usually in a way that gets me into things I really ought not to - like the marathon I've signed up for next May - I am my own worst enemy.

Wow - that swimming tube looks absolutely fabulous - it would be like levitating over London. Will definitely be one for the bucket list if gets built.
However, slightly too much information about how the 2 supporting buildings are built on different types of foundation so move in different ways with the wind.....
Still have to do it though!
Warm, dry and breezy here. Time to overhaul the veg beds & pick the last of the peas. Herbs, chard & courgettes still doing very well, carrots OK (bit small), tomatoes ripening at last, salad crops a bit of a disaster after a good early season. Every last beetroot has been munched by voles...
Hope you all have a good day. Tomorrow looks like it's gonna be a hot one here in the east / south east so will try to get jobs done today so can enjoy ligging around tomorrow
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
LP - no - racing's not my thing at all! My feet are done in anyway. I won't be doing anything more strenuous for a while than getting into the car!
You should see the colour of the water my trousers and socks are in to soak before I wash them
I'm only competitive with myself. I set realistic targets, but I get very annoyed if I don't achieve what I've set out to do - which fortunately isn't too often. Better for my blood pressure that way
BL - the problem with having the bubbly first is that you go two steps up and one back so it takes longer!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Daughter has now said I mustn't give up our room as I need to sleep. Have 5 hour drive on Monday to help Son 1 with LOs while they move into new house. They will arrange it a different way.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I did Lizzie, I wish I was brave enough to set some! In the main people are ok and I really want them to feel welcome and relaxed. I am hoping that that last large family were an exception and even though they were under my feet all day they were lovely and did buy me a nice gift at the end, I think they knew they havd overseptted the mark a bit.
Btw, sorry I didn't reply to your bbq e-mail, I hope we can come, will let you know asap, just waiting to hear back from guests as to their wants and needs.

But they are family! Not the same as PGs. By the way, did you see what I wrote about B&B rules?

FG, if you have enough bubbly you will be on a cloud anyway and won't notice how many steps!

Bushman, vacancies as long as you promise to behave.
It would be so lovely to have a GW meeting in France, between me and BL we can fit quite a few in.
