  • Good morning all, friends staying at moment, down to watch Cornwall play Dorset at cricket in Bournemouth. As a Hampshire lad I can stay neutral and enjoy the scene. Verd., sorry but after a superb start Cornwall were on the receiving end towards evening yesterday and are now in second place. Still it's not over until......

Gardening on hold at moment, so must wait until Wednesday to plant out my alpines, grasses and ferns on and around the new terrace.image

Have a good one everyone... I shall be thinking of you from the boundary rope.

Wow, thats quite a hedge! I wonder how much maintainance that needs image

That's only one of them Bekkie, there's another one at the other side of the front lawn, and then there's all the topiary at the back

    Morning all.

Have a lovely day Woody - stay safely out the way of any 'stray' boundaries.. image Looking forward ti the pix of the terrace soon image

I could do with my hedge being that size - that would keep out the interlopers!

Brighter day today but showers I think. Very cool but that's normal at this time in the am.

Lovely looking spread Dove - what did everyone else have? image Thought that was bekkie's husband's lunch for a moment....midnight chickens....what's that about?

Verd - I hope you're charging plenty...you need it for all those plants you keep buying....

Off for a little look round while the washing washes - I can take my time since no work for me this week image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

The great thing about those yew hedges is that they're hollow, so you can go inside - it's like being a child in a 'camp' again image

Morning everyone image At this moment in time it's dry and the wind has died down in the last half an hour ........ Only temporary I believe as forecast says gust of up to 50 miles later and yes Bekkie I heard low temps too, not sure if that low but they said a chance of sleet in the hills and in Scotland image Lesley, better stay south of the border a bit longer image

Arch and tree sound lovely Panda image

I think I may have to treat myself to Lobelia, Fan Blue and Compliment Scarlet are in my wish list but only because those were the 2 I saw in the GC the other week. image

Have a good day everyone and enjoy the cricket Woody.

Morning all. Only 7° at 9am.

Committee meeting this morning then seeing a friend this afternoon, may help stack his logs.

Glad that's not my hedge. Don't fancy the hedge cutting.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
