I'm doing it for my liver - and of course I know you're not "new" - i even remember all about your little man and big man (and your GH with a chair, and your picket fence and your adorable beagles). So glad to hear the new business is going well, but hope we get to see you and your garden a bit on here in 2015
Jolly hard frost out there this morning - sheets of ice, lots of sparkle and Minus 1C Brrrr
Glad everything's wrapped up. At least the cold weather should make the birds start to appreciate who's feeding them regularly so that they appear for the Big Garden Bird Count day rather than run off and hide
And yes SL, some things haven't changed much on here Anyone getting unpleasant PMs please forward them to DH.
What's planned for today ... well I shall have to keep off the grass 'cos it's all crunchy, so gardening is out.
I may make a cake or some scones or something and, roast a piece of shoulder of pork for supper and I may sit quietly and do some knitting. Hopefully the builder is arriving tomorrow and it'll be the last day of peace and quiet for a while ...
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Eyebrows are to stop sweat getting in your eyes Probably the only intelligent thought I'll have today.
Dove I don't envy you being plastered All this house has been re-done by various plasterers and I've yet to meet one that doesn't throw it from one side of the room to the other
I'm tired this morning I ended up watching some silly film about female vampires until 1.30am.
Well, I had to walk on the grass 'cos the feeders needed topping up and I've put lots of ground feed out as well. The kettle's on to thaw out the birdbath.
And all done in my jimjams and dressing gown too - OH is still in the Land of Nod!
I'll put some bacon under the grill in a bit - that'll wake him up
Oh, good morning KEF! You snuck in there while I wasn't looking ...
