Morning all. Late night with friends so I'm tucked up in bed while his lordship snores away. I wish I could sleep in but once brain hits 07:30 it refuses to settle. Haven't opened the curtains yet to see what's going on but it was -1.5'C when we got in so I'm not expecting the tropics!
Good morning everyone. The grass is all crunchy here, it was last night when I emptied clothes out of the dryer(in the garage).
Can I have a bacon butty too, Dove?
I'll put a pot of coffee on.
Ive got some erythronium to plant. I forgot them, they have been in water overnight rehydrating. It looks like I'll need a hammer and chisel to plant them.
Don't you find the heels stick in the lawn, Dove, or are you trying to aerate it? Did you get my emails, or have I sent them to the wrong person who wasn't you after all?
Much warmer this morning +7° and wet.
There was a Sunflower who used to post here, but don't think she does any more. There was also an Edd who did wood carvings.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Ill go and feed the birds, dressed in a long white dressing gown, and green wellies. I dont suppose the birds will mind, and the neighbours can't see me there.
Not as trendy as you Dove, old dressing gown, coat and Crocs been worn here to attend to the birds, me blinking toes are dropping off. Good luck with the planting Fidget you can borrow my wrecking bar if you like
Clari my OH is still snoring, time to start dropping baking trays, think it was Lesley who passed on that tip.
Yes BL - I have your email - shall reply after breakfast! Bacon butties all round folks? It's some rather nice black molasses Suffolk-cured bacon which we were given free, gratis and for nothing since it was 24 hours past it's Best Before Date and there's plenty to go around
Does anyone want grilled tomatoes in their sarnies? We've got a load of free tomatoes too

Morning KEF.
When Dove was in her heels I was in jeans, mac and wellies, feeding horses and walking dog. But it is an hour later here.
