Good morning everyone, it's sunny morning so far 18 degrees
Thank you for everyone's bday best wishes for mr BM yesterday, so kind of you all
Sounds like I missed lots yesterdson but think I have caught up now and can't possibly comment on all but things that stood out were stalkers, badge making, lovely days out, hard work in the garden, home economics at school and wine guzzling And I only left you for one day!
As car broke down OH had lovely bday clearing out the gutters And car diagnosing and I had a real good session in the garden
Hope you all have good days today albeit at work or home Be brave girl Bekkie
Just having cup of tea then off to see what the plan for today is in the garden whilst OH tries to get car fixed xx
On the gallery thread we were talking about Levens Hall in Cumbria, Dove - it has a huge hedge which you can walk inside too. There's wild garlic in it if I remember correctly.
OL - the hills up here don't get much respite from snow - many still have it lying in May/June and can easily get more by September. Even at lower levels we can get snow in October. Got off lightly last winter - hope it doesn't make up for it this year..
All part of life's great tapestry...or some such nonsense
BM - that sounds like an exciting birthday for OH, but it's because I'm wondering if the 'session in the garden' was part of it though....
I'll get my coat....quickly!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
This isnt that nice accupuncture you see on tv, my physio does it, the needle is about 3 or 4 inches long, that dosent hurt to be fair, but it sort of causes what feels like explosions in your muscles as the knotted muscle discharges the tension, hurts like hell for the rest of the day after ive had it, really spaces me out too, but the next day its wonderful, no pain at all, thats when i usually do something stupid
Thanks for saying that about the present, this time next week we will know if she likes it!
On a mission today to uproot all the nettles I can see and possibly (not convinced) make a nettle liquid food for the garden with them. It stinks to high heaven I believe and I think maybe timing is wrong for feeding plants by the time it will be ready.
Covered head to toe in protective clothes though, so better get on before it gets too hot!
OH not speaking to me either (from UK) as I had to ask him how to work TV (again) and he says he is wasting his breath talking to me because I don't listen anyway.
It's all you fault 'Forkers', always trying to catch up with these threads when I should be listening to him. And it is a very complicated TV - honest.
Good day to you all.

Friend has just left to head back to Gloucestershire - I've sent here with some garlic chives and a couple of meals-worth of the yellow wax beans - now to do the washing ....
