Get 'em trimmed now Yvie - gives them time to get a little growth established before the cold weather sets in. My sister had the same problem - the neighbouring garden had a lelandii hedge but removed it recently and she's got no privacy now! They'll have to sort out the fence which was hidden below them but it's obviously not as high as the hedge was.
Don't fancy having nerves shaved ....although there's a few undesirables round here who need it... some of 'em have far too big a nerve...
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
FG, I wonder if those are the anti trackers near me, the ones that were talking about breaking the law but have taken over a framers field? I must admit it's a bit scary though, we had two tremors last year, supposedly unrelated but I'm not sure......I wouldn't glue myself to anything though, that would be silly
BM, so sorry I forgot to say happy birthday to Beau's Dad yesterday....belated birthday wishes from me
Yvie, that shoe thing made me laugh! , sorry about your back, sounds terrible, the nerve shaving dosent sound nice but must be needed if they are willing to do it
The chap that does mine is wonderful, has a genuine interest in it which shows
That sounds bad OL, i hope you dont get any more tremours! What will we think of next?
I agree with Fairy about the trees, just be careful incase there are any late nesting birdies
OH I must admit I dont like the idea of this fracking cant see how it can avoid damaging the water supply. I know we need fuel security but it worries me.
I agree Fairy.
Ive retreived the shoe, very soggy. Ill have to find some other gardening shoes now. Mind you by the look of the black clouds I'll probably need wellies.
It's campaigners in London, not the ones near us. I drove past on Saturday, there were hundreds of them setting up camp and more arriving.......maybe now is a good time to have my mid life crisis and join a campaign
Stopped 'doing my hair' when I finished work. Mostly I look like Worzel Gummidge now and couldnt care less, its wonderful. All suits relegated to Oxfam and I hope I never see another pair of heels ever again.
It hasnt been cut for 12 months! You can imagine the state of it! Almost waist length now, starting to look very strange-oh well at least i should ge some space on the bus!

I love working from home days and holidays when I don't need to bother doing my hair LOL!!
I can't join the campaign, I'm meeting Lesley on Wednesday and I don't think they'd let me out to meet a friend
