We're made of sterner stuff than you soft southerners... I don't take my shorts off till the New Year and that's just to wash them.image

DD - have you tried 'switching it off - and switching it back on again'?... image

Good drying weather here for washing Dove - just as well with the amount of socks and pants of youngest fairylet has out there today. That's what I get for buying just coloured ones for her - I presume she had some spare for school today ...image

Just heard on the radio news that some anti frackers have superglued themselves to something as a protest.  I'm not going to comment....in any way....image

BM - I've just ordered some more timber and fence posts fro delivery tomorrow so not much chance of taking it easy image   I also have to tackle the giant white buddleia with the loppers as it has to come out for the building work, and I may as well do it now while I have the time.  Top's  gone over so I'll  start with that anyway. I didn't hack it back in spring because I knew it was coming out, but it might have been wise because it would have been a bit easier....image

I'll try not to catapult any bees into the middle of next week when I pull branches down and snip them...image

Morning all, What a great picnic Dove and an amazing hedge.  Coincidence but I was looking at the dreaded leylandi (spelling) at the bottom of my garden.  Ive had tree sugeons in twice and they took about 5ft off each time but Im thinging of taking them down another 4ft.  I cant take them out altogether as there are houses behind and I cant bear the thought of being overlooked in the garden.  How would I garden in my jim jams!  They need trimming back a bit as well.  Is it the right time of year do you think or should I wait until Feb.

Good luck Salt Miners hope you all have a good day.

Bekkie where's he sticking the needles.  Ive had the same treatment on my back a few times but it never seemed to work. Waiting to have the neves shaved in my back, not looking forward to it, apparently its vile.
