  • Hi all image  Just got off phone from son - they live a mile inland on the Suffolk coast - it's very very windy there at the moment.  His football match has been cancelled for H&S so he's organising an indoor 5 a side later today to keep fitness levels up.

Do you remember that about a fortnight ago they had a lightening strike and tornado which damaged his neighbours' roofs and brought tiles down onto son's driveway - well next door have got scaffolding up and the tiles are stacked in piles on the scaffold boarding - or they were last night!

Now they're all in son's driveway - that's the second time his and DIL's cars have narrowly escaped being hit by falling tiles from that roof.

Yesterday he phoned the builders and warned them that it might happen and they said that it was too dangerous to go up the scaffolding and bring the tiles down - his comments about why they stacked them there in prevailing weather conditions were unprintable!

Hi Dove, glad no car damage. Is your son having to move the tiles from his drive or is builder coming? Second thoughts builder better not go. image
