In the middle of a raging thunderstorm here - lots of flashes, lots of noise and lots of rainimage.  Forecast says it will have blown through here by early afternoon, so hoping i can get outside to plant up my pots then.

might have to search myself out a heliotrope.image

It wont make its mind up here!! Unfortunately I can't get hold of the manure lady so it looks like that might need to wait a while (no rush for it fortunately - and they have a never ending supply!) I did get excited thinking the electricity had gone but it was just a bulb blowing right after the thunder rolled over.

My partner is moving cars all day - at least he should be I normally get an update moaning about something by now. I hope the weather isn't too unforgiving for him.

Think I might go and rip the Hostas up so I can make some more space and reuse the pots for my other plants. Seems a shame to compost them since they'll fill the compost wheelie bin on their own (I can't move them in the pots - too huge!!) So must be a decent age but I just really don't like them! (Mind you I'm one of those people who likes her plants and flowers to be useful and if I can't eat it or watch bees on it it is never going to end well!)

    Morning image

Happy Anniversary Lily and OH image image

Wasn't raining when I got up, went for a wander and photo taking sesh in the garden after a friend requested pics of my untidy border. Sky turned black, tiny flash of lightning, biggest roll of thunder ever, then the heavens opened! A swift walk back to the house and now am watching the rain image

Have to pop out in about 15 mins so am hoping it stops (hahahaha!) as it's claw decorating time image

Dove, hope you manage to miss some of the rain and the pub is warm and dry image
