Mornin all... Quick skim of last night's/this morning's posts, and I see that several of us would be up for a northern day out - mid-sept sounds fine to me, can manage weekends or midweek usually. Could get to Harlow Carr (2 hrs away) and/or Dove Cottage (the local U3A gardening group went there & said it was well worth while. They meet on a day I can hardly ever manage... )
Thinking about my little girl today (well, she's 35, but you know what I mean... ) cos she's got her appointment with the paediatrician, hopefully to sort out 5-month old granddaughter's digestive problems. Fingers crossed...
Need to move some flagstones now.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Morning folks! Just had a catch up - good luck to daughter and grand daughter Liri
Enjoy the shopping KEF - rather you than me
Hugs/cheers or whatever's appropriate for everyone else
Lovely Builder arrived just as the scones were cooling - he had two mugs of tea and two scones and re-sealed the bath - we'll test it tonight when it's 'gone off properly' and phone him with the result. Charge for an emergency visit on a BH? £15
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Hi Folks put me down for Harlow Carr, I have someone I might be able to stay with, Ill have to check it out when I get back from holiday. If not I might be able to get B&B local.
Liri I hope the appointment goes well for your daughter.
I quite like shopping for new clothes but not when I need something. I know that sounds mad but if I'm going for something specific I never seem to find it but if I'm just browsing I quite often find something I like. Ive learned not to buy anything unless I absolutely love it because quite often if it's just OK it stays in the wardrobe and I can't afford to do that anymore since finishing work.
Be careful moving those flagstones, I suspect you will feel it tomorrow, so hope you feel better in advance.
It stopped raining here but it's still very grey. I still have a couple of plants to put in before holiday so it looks like I'm going to get a bit muddy.
Hello everyone....on 'lunch' break now before heading out again.....butter thins and a cup of tea

Morning all, what's left of it.
I feel much better now, lost 4lbs. Expect most will be put back soon though.
I liked clothes shopping when I was slimmer. I like M & S Per Una jeans, but I wish they did more blue shades, most are grey.
Best wishes and hugs Liri, hope all goes well x
Bargain Dove!!
Agree with you Busy Liz, Per Una are usually a good fit if you can get a blue pr,
Done a bit of sorting and have a bag full for charity shop. Got bored with that now tho, want to get out, going stir crazy but its still hissing down
