house to myself tonight - might finally get to watch the last GBGR and Winterwatch.  Only a few more Fridays before Monty returnsimage

  • Winds and rain in Marlow have been baaaaaaad for hours now. Saw BBC news earlier, and presenter in Marlow said water levels had dropped - don't know where in Town that was! Saw Marlow weir behind him, and it now appears to be surplus to requirements as the two water levels are just about meeting.

Higginson Park is full of water to the gates, which are just across the road from the High Street - next few days there will be gallons of water pouring down from the tops of the Chilterns, and things could become really grim.

Just hope all of you are keeping dry and warm, and damage free.

Regards to Verdun and all my friends and kin in the West Country.
